7 months go by

My little baby boy is 7 months old today! Where does the time go?? When he was a newborn I couldn't wait for him to get older and be more independent, but I LOVE the age he is now, and I'm just starting to get sad when he gets bigger. But I know that every stage is exciting in it's own way :) He is pretty much crawling now, and he gives me kisses. heheh. he's so cute!

In other news, I went to see "We Bought a Zoo" with a friend yesterday! It was a such a cute movie. You have to love a movie with Matt Damon in it, right??

My husband is leaving for another deployment fairly soon and I'm moving home to Kansas for it. He has been gone for some training this week and will be gone for another week ish, and it is making me sooo grateful that I get to go home during deployment! It is SO much more work by yourself with a baby! I have really missed my "me" time this week.

day 6

Day 6 of my 30, or maybe more, day juice fast! And I'm down 6 pounds and feeling great! Oh man those first 4 days were soooooooo hard. I stayed home all week and took a nap every time Emery(my 7 month old son) did!
I'm going to start exercising again this week, because not only do I need to lose body mass but I need to tone up this post-baby flab! yuck.

I really want to lose 18 more pounds to get to my goal weight, it's the weight I've always felt the best at! Onc I hit 135 I'll post a progress photo, only 7 more pounds!

I have become obsessed with B&N lately! AND I got a giftcard for Christmas and purchased a photography book. AND a Kandinsky bio. Seriously, he is an amazing artist no doubt... but I can't imagine being so passionate about art that I would leave my spouse to go to a new country to pursue it! A bit dramatic in my opinion. But it was a great read none the less!

baby dedication

Emery's dedication was Christmas sunday! Our faith is something that's very important to us, and having him dedicated just means basically that we want to be held accountable to be godly parents and raise him in a home with strong christian values :) 

We will strive to be the best parents we can be! 

It was sooo nice to have all of our family and a few friends together on Christmas sunday!

We had a fabulous Christmas, I hope you all did as well!

I am not a fan on N.C. It's alwaaaaaays freakin hot outside! I'm so tired of being hot. I'm pretty sure I would be comfortable outside today in shorts and a t-shirt.
Cannot wait to be home in Kansas next week! You can take the girl out of Kansas but your can't take Kansas out of the girl ;)
I grew up hating Kansas and so badly wanting to move and seek out some new adventures. But I'm starting to realize that Kansas has a little bit of everything! I miss it.
