we are going to eventually get new bedroom furniture and that means I re-decorating our room, and I LOVE these art walls, with all the random pieces that don't match yet somehow go together! that's pretty much how my whole house is :p
I also love these walls...

also since we moved and I need to give our family and friends our new address, I'm ordering these postcards from Etsy, so cute.

casual sunday

so I got this long over sized blue shirt at forever 21. thinking woo I can belt this and wear it with tights! CUTE. nope.........I was very mistaken, it made me look like a pregnant um pa lump a! (not that there's anything wrong with that...)

anyway I've had the shirt for a long time and I finally decided to give it a try, here's what I came up with

so a couple of weeks ago I embarked on a great journey......I traveled far and wide.....

ok long story short my husbands in the army and we moved to Texas! so I have been busy...

I'm not going to lie, I was really close to deleting this blog and just quitting all together...because frankly I can't compete with the fashion bloggers out there! I have no clue how to go into Goodwill and come out with a fabulous vintage outfit...and I don't even think our thrift stores sell things like that....or maybe I'm just lacking creativity!

but I'm not going to quit, because I enjoy blogging and it's something fun to do when I get bored!

so here you go, a couple of outfits since I've become a Texas girl!

 

this entire outfit is from Kohls. except the shoes are Jessica Simpson! I hardly ever find anything at Kohls, but this skirt just caught my eye!

by the way it's been in the 60's here in Texas! beautiful baby, beautiful...

also my diet is going well, 5 pounds down! woot

my outfits lately have been extremely budget friendly, I am currently in the middle of moving and saving up to go to Europe this spring! which I think is worth skimping on clothes for!

another hair post

I've been having a major lack of fashion inspiration lately, mainly due to the lack of good thrift stores here....
my outfits lately have been really boring....jeans and a black top boring.....it's cold and dreary and bleh

I have however been experimenting with my hair, growing my bangs out, so today I tried out braiding them back and putting on a flowered headband, I thought it was cute, wish I had a creamy lace top to wear with it

Denver fashion!

well I have been neglecting my blog lately, due to a trip to Denver and then getting sick.....
but I have lots of time now for blogging since I quit my job to get ready for our move to Texas!
