Roadtrip update!

well we made it through Arizona, California, and now were in the beautiful state of
Oregon! Off to Washington tomorrow! Were having a great time! I will post photos soon, I don't have a laptop so I have to wait!

the best thing about not having a job right now is going thrifting all the time! The worst part is not having money to buy a lot of stuff!

I had an interview yesterday to be a nanny! the family is great! I really am hoping I get the job, they're interviewing a few other nannies though. But I'm sure none of them are as great as me.... just sayin.

Also, if I get this job I can finally get my Canon rebel! yesssss

On to fashion! I wore this dress to church yesterday, we have been trying to find a church we like and it's soooo hard! either they're crazy and have baton twirlers or they are BORING. If I get on my iPhone at church it's automatically a no.

anyway, I was wondering if this dress was too short for church, but hey, it's hot in Texas! Maybe I gave the old women something new to gossip about.... not that I am stereotyping old women....

Europe flashback weekend: wrap up

I'm combining Prague, Austria, and a few randoms in one post so I can get back to fashion on Mondayy!

Europe flashback weekend.

So, I was thinking today that I never showed you lovely readers my Europe photos. (besides the ones of Paris)

better late than never, right? This weekend I am going to show you photos from a different country every day.

I have really been missing Europe. The culture, the art, the fashion....... feeling like I was in a Disney princess movie all the time. (mostly the last one, of course)

Art school

well I have officially applied to graphic design schools! The classes sound so exciting! I wish I would have started college right out of highschool. But I went off to beauty school and worked in salons for several years. I enjoyed it a lot but the money I made just wasn't worth it. Most of my income was spent on supplies. Lame ;)

anyway I'm excited to begin this new adventure! and it gives me and excuse to buy an iMac, or a macbook at least

Yes, I'm a mac girl..............boo to pc's.....

And hopefully soon I will have one of these babies. I only have the 3gS, it's time for iPhone 4.

In other news, we are going on an extreme road trip in a week ish. we're going to arizona, california, oregon, washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and then to kansas to see our family and friends!
I don't know if I told you or not, but I LOVE traveling. I will go anywhere and everywhere. There's just something about exploring new places. it's exhilarating.

I went to my friend Yuliya's house today, and she always makes tea and yummy snacks...I skipped lunch so I wouldn't be cheating on my diet......the brownie and ice cream was so worth it.
speaking of diet, I have been doing my couch to 5K, I can now run 7 whole minutes...(all you fancy runners are like, pshhhh big deal!....but it's a big deal to me, ok? ok.)
and tonight I am running 8 minutes :O

I heart thrifting

me and my hilarious friend, Summer, went thrifting today. and we found some AMAZING things.

I got this great dress, which I think I will put on eBay. and I got art work and an old globe! I've been looking for a globe since we got married and finally found one!
Summer got some great mid-century end tables, they have glass inserts with a cool design in them

It was a good day.

well with the weather being 109 lately, that doesn't leave much room for diversity in outfits! pretty much shorts and tanks for me! boring....
